Planning for the Week of Prayer

  1. Start Your Planning Now: Begin planning, set targets, assemble your team, and include your pastor.
  2. Global Youth Day Information: Find details about Global Youth Day, which kicks off Youth Week of Prayer. Visit gcyouthministries.org or contact your local youth director to join.
  3. Commit Your Prayer Warriors: Form a group of adults for regular prayer support for your ministry, with whom you can share prayer needs confidentially.
  4. Choose a Theme Song: Involve your youth choir, and select songs that align with each evening's topic or one for the week.
  5. Form a Week of Prayer Development: Gather committed young adults and leaders for planning. Aim for at least three weeks of meetings to set goals, directions, and choose speakers.
  6. Day of Fasting: Select a day for fasting and decide on specific prayer focus areas with your team.

Making Global Youth Day a Lifestyle: A Five-Month Plan

Since 2013, Global Youth Day (GYD) has focused on salvation, discipleship, and mission. It's about understanding the reasons behind actions. This initiative aims to embed mission into youth outreach.
