Day 1 Mission Means Me - Hearing the Voice of God

Key Verse:

Isaiah 6:8a, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying…”

Devotional Reflection:

Are you listening for God’s voice amidst the noise of the world? He still speaks today, as Ellen G. White noted, “To everyone has been given the privilege of hearing the voice of God” (Steps to Christ, p. 87).

He calls out, asking, “Whom shall I send?” Like Isaiah, we must be ready to listen before we can respond. Many remain unreached by the Gospel, including those in our lives and the 10/40 window, where over 3 billion people have not heard of Jesus. These are not just statistics; they are individuals seeking hope.

We must be attentive and act. Take time today to quiet your heart and listen. Can you hear God's call? Will you respond?

Mission Challenge:

Pause and ask, “Where are You sending me today?” Take one bold step - share His love or stand firm in your faith. The time to act is now!

Isaiah 6:8 Reflection:

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying…” Are you listening? What is God calling you to do today? Don’t let distractions drown out His voice. Respond, especially for those in the 10/40 window waiting for the Gospel.

Day 2: Mission Means Me – Responding to the Call

Key Text:

Isaiah 6:8b, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”

Devotional Sermonette:

God is calling YOU today, asking, “Whom shall I send?” He needs your willingness, not your perfection. The right moment to respond is NOW. As Ellen G. White noted in The Desire of Ages, God chooses those willing to follow Him, not based on qualifications. Your availability matters; He will equip you for the journey ahead.

In the 10/40 window, many have yet to hear the Good News. Your readiness to share and serve can change lives. Prayer: “Lord, here am I! Use me to spread Your truth and hope. I may feel unprepared, but I am willing. Send me to those who need Your light, even in the darkest corners of the earth!”

Today’s Mission Challenge:

Step out and help someone today - offer encouragement, kindness, or prayer. Capture the moment with a fun selfie and post it with the hashtag #SendMeChallenge. Let’s show how we’re making a difference!

Isaiah 6:8 Reflection:

God’s call is clear: “Whom shall I send?” Will you answer faithfully like Isaiah and commit to reaching the unreached? Will you say, “Here am I, send me?”

Day 3: Mission Means Me – Being a Light in Darkness

Key Text:

Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world.”

Devotional Sermonette:

You are called to shine your light for all to see, even in the darkest places. Your light reflects Jesus and guides others to salvation (Ellen G. White, Christ's Object Lessons). You don’t have to go far - whether through encouragement, integrity, or kindness, you can shine right where you are.

For those who feel hopeless, alone, or broken-hearted, your presence can make a difference. You can be a source of hope and healing for the lost and the discouraged. Even the smallest light can pierce the darkness.

Call to Action:

Shine your light today! Encourage someone - send a text, share a kind word, or offer a prayer. Your light could bring them hope! Use #ShineYourLight to spread the love.

Isaiah 6:8 Reflection:

Will you hear God’s call today? Shine brightly in the dark places, especially in the 10/40 window where Jesus' light is needed most.

Day 4: Mission Means Me – Trusting God’s Timing & Understanding Contexts

Key Text:

Ecclesiastes 3:1, "To everything there is a season..."

Devotional Sermonette:

Trusting God’s timing is challenging but essential. Although we may feel impatient, God moves in His own seasons, even when it seems slow, especially regarding the unreached in the 10/40 window. His work is ongoing, often unseen, preparing hearts for His message.

As Ellen G. White noted, God expertly orchestrates His plan for salvation. Our role is to be faithful and trust in His perfect timing. While we wait, we must also embrace diversity in our mission to reach various cultures and perspectives. The enemy seeks to divide us, but God calls for unity in our differences.

Together, we can effectively spread the Gospel across the world. We're meant to be a light in a confused world, guiding others to truth. As we come together, let’s reject division and promote unity to share God’s marvelous truth.

Call to Action:

Pray for patience and trust in God's timing. Encourage someone to wait for His perfect plan. Share verses like Ecclesiastes 3:1 or Isaiah 6:8, and use #TrustHisTiming!

Isaiah 6:8 Reflection:

"Whom shall I send?" God’s call comes at the right moment. Will you trust His timing and be faithful to the mission, especially in the 10/40 window?

Day 5: Mission Means Me – Walking by Faith

Key Text:

2 Corinthians 5:7: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Devotional Sermonette:

Walking by faith means stepping out without seeing the complete path. As Peter stepped out of the boat, we too are called to embrace the unknown.

Ellen G. White said, “Faith is trusting God to do what we cannot do for ourselves” (Steps to Christ, p. 68). God asks us to trust and move forward, even when clarity is lacking.

Many in the 10/40 window await someone to act in faith. It’s time to leave our comfort zones and share the Gospel, trusting God with what comes next.

Call to Action:

Where is God asking you to step out in faith? Whether it's reaching out to someone unfamiliar with Christ, praying for a missionary, or supporting missions, take that step today. Trust that God is guiding you and share your journey with #StepOutInFaith!

Isaiah 6:8 Reflection:

“Here am I, send me!” Will you take that step of faith and say “Yes” to God’s call, even when the path ahead isn’t clear?

Day 6: Mission Means Me – Living in Purpose

Key Text:

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you…”

Devotional Sermonette:

God has a divine purpose for your life. You are not here by accident; your mission is to advance His Kingdom, whether through community service or prayer. As Ellen G. White said, “God has a purpose for every life... He will give the strength and wisdom for its fulfillment.”

You are essential to His plan, even if you don't always see it. Every step, prayer, and word you share supports His mission. You were created for a greater reason than you can imagine.

Living with purpose means recognizing your importance in God's plan. He doesn’t make mistakes; every event in your life contributes to His purpose.

Call to Action:

Are you fulfilling your God-given purpose? Pray for guidance and take action today. Your mission matters. #LiveInPurpose to share how you’re stepping into God's plan!

Isaiah 6:8 Reflection:

“Whom shall I send?” God is calling YOU to live purposefully. Will you answer, “Here I am, send me,” and share the Gospel?

Day 7: Mission Means Me – Sharing the Gospel

Key Text:

Matthew 28:19-20: “Go and make disciples of all nations…”

Devotional Sermonette:

The Great Commission is a command from Jesus for everyone, not just missionaries. You have the chance to share Christ's love in your daily life - at school, in your community, or online. With over 3 billion people in spiritual darkness, your mission to spread the Gospel is essential.

Ellen G. White reminds us that “The church is God’s appointed agency for the salvation of men.” This calling is for all of us and is not a one-time event but an everyday mission. You may feel unsure or think you're not perfect, but God desires your willingness to act. It's about trusting Him and taking that first step.

Someone in your life needs to hear the Good News now. The mission starts today with small, daily actions. God has placed you here to make a difference. Don’t wait - share a Bible verse, post a message of hope, or reach out to someone in need. The time is NOW!

Call to Action:

Share the Gospel today - through your words, actions, or generosity. The time to answer the call and make disciples is NOW, especially in the unreached 10/40 window. Start making an impact with the device in your hand. #missionmeansme

Isaiah 6:8 Reflection:

“Here am I, send me!” Will you answer the call to share the Gospel, particularly in the 10/40 window? Your response matters. Will you say, “Here am I, send me?”
