Hi, I'm not sure if anyone will see this but I'm need some help. I've been raised an Adventist my whole life, and right now there are more than a few things that aren't good and my life, and I've strayed so far. I need prayer and I need Jesus so much, I feel I want to change I'm baptized I believe I'm still save it's just lately I feel my connection with Jesus fading, I have little to no willpower...please just pray for me pray for the will and the follow through I just don't know what to do🥺

Hi there @Jmorgan92

I would like to say that you have made the most important choice of your life. Having been raised an Adventist, I am certain you are familiar with the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32.

I am drawing a parallel between the decision you have made to that of the prodigal son. The father in this story was ALWAYS looking towards the gate for the day when his lost son would reappear 👇.
Luke 15:20 said:
And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.
In a similar pattern, Christ is always looking for the day each one of His children will make the decision to welcome Him into their heart and dine with Him (Revelation 3:20).
I feel I want to change I'm baptized I believe I'm still save it's just lately I feel my connection with Jesus fading, I have little to no willpower...please just pray for me pray for the will and the follow through I just don't know what to do🥺
God's greatest desire is that each one of His children should come to repentance. Spend much time with Him in secret to renew your connection. It is Him who works in you to will and to do all according to His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

I will pray for you. I believe other members will also pray for you too.

Please seek audience with your local pastor/church elder for prayer and further personalized guidance.

If you have any other question, you can reply to this thread or send a direct message.

God bless you.

Greetings my friend, what the Chief has said is really good advice.

As for me helping younger ones like you, I show them how to do Genuine Faith.

This process, simple to do, allows you to receive private miracles of Jesus Grace every day,
and you can really have fun testing Jesus is with you by asking "faith promises" that in your own strength you can't do.

The best way to learn this process is to follow my link and read some examples.

Towards the end of many posted examples you will find my encouragement to a young man like yourself, his name is Tomas and he was not a strong believer in God, until I showed me how to do genuine faith. Shalom
