I'm a seventh day adventist and I always was.
But I was born in a Eastern european country and here the most predominant denominations are Chatolics and Orthodoxs, so here is pretty hard to practice seventh day-adventism. My family is also a very devouted orthodox one, and if I will come out as a seventh day adventist and If I baptise in a to them they will kick me out of the house, I mean out of the family. So as I said I wasn't baptised in a sda church but I wanna be baptised in a sda church but if I won't be pray for me and my salvation and my forgivness.
I will try and be part of as many sda communities as I can and I will read the EGW books. I know I don't have to be baptised in a sda church to be part of the truth, to find the truth and to know the truth but I want to because if I feel I fit in adventism why not ?
One more thing, JESUS IS OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR AND MAY GOD BE WITH US ALL ! AMEN!

Dear friend,
I can only empathise with you as I have never been in your exact situation. May God give you the wisdom to navigate this challenge. Believe in His power to change what seems to be impossible in the sight of men.

Greetings Flavius

I had a back packer come to me as a work colleague as we were employed as gardeners in the Village, a very large motel for mining guests, around 700 rooms on 5 acres of landscape gardens. His name was Tomas, His Father was strict Greek Orthodox and His Mum divorced him and went to Canada, while the Father lives in Argentina. Tomas was not really a believer in God, but became a believer very rapidly when I asked him, do you want to know how to experience genuine faith in God, without being religious?

https://spiritualsprings.proboards.com/thread/112/practical-examples-genuine-faith

There are 8 threads, but on the 7th thread I speak about Tomas Sep 29, 2025 at 6:40am

I did not know much about his Dad religion but found it really good - so I would like to know about Othodox religion with you.
But the most important gift we can give you is how to experience genuine faith - as I gave to Tomas.

The important thing is to have Jesus divine powers dwelling in you every day because you ask for them. Helping your family see such divinity in you will open their eyes to your humility and meekness and your presence will be a wonderful witness to them.
They will either love Jesus in you or learn to hate you even more. Let the love of God be glorified in you.

Now if you want to develop public miracles of His grace in you, you have to practice fervent prayer and fasting, and once you practice the faith process, you can become a tool for good in the Hands of Jesus.

If you have any questions let us know. Ask Jesus for wisdom every day, ask Him to shut down extremes of your free will so you become a child in His eyes, and ask Him to speak His words through you all the time. These I call "faith promises" or "prayer promises" or as EGW calls them "appropriating the precious promises in the Word of God"

Shalom my friend
